# I received a message from Wirespeed

> What should I do now?

[Wirespeed](https://wirespeed.co/) is a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) company that investigates alerts within your organization. If you have received a message from us that is because we detected a suspicious activity in relation to your account. This usually means a suspicious login from a new location or potentially malicious commands executed on your computer.

## **I did not perform this action**

If you do not believe you performed these activities, select "No" on the chat message and we will automatically contain the appropriate resources. This may include locking out your account until your password can be reset. Proceed with **next steps** once you have responded to the message.

## **I performed this action**

If you did perform these activities, selecting "Yes" will ignore the case and help us learn more so we don't message you again for similar activities.

## **I don't know what this means**

If you are unsure what this means, it is safe to assume you did not perform the activity and should select "No" to begin containing the problematic resources. Proceed with **next steps** once you have done so.

## **Next Steps**

If your account is locked out, please contact your IT department to begin a password reset. If you have any questions, please contact [support@wirespeed.co](mailto:support@wirespeed.co) or your IT department for more information.
