# Jamf Protect

> Integrate with Jamf Protect to identify devices and detections in your organization

1. Login to your **Jamf Protect** instance
2. Navigate to **Settings** > **Account** > **Roles**
3. Create a new role, assigning it:
   * Read & Write permissions for Alerts
   * Read permissions for Compliance, Computers, Downloads, and Plans
4. Navigate to **Settings** > **API Clients**
5. Click **Create API Client** and assign it the role you just created
6. Save the **Client ID** and **Client Secret** and the **URL** of your Jamf Protect instance
7. Login to Wirespeed and navigate to Integrations > [**Add Integration**](https://app.wirespeed.co/settings/integrations?tab=browse) > **Jamf Protect**
8. Provide the information from Step 6
