# Mimecast

> Integrate with Mimecast to pull email alerts into Wirespeed

## Integrate Wirespeed with Mimecast

1. Login to **Mimecast**
2. Click **Account** on the left sidebar
3. Select **Admin Roles**
4. Click **New Roles**
5. Name the new role **Wirespeed API**
6. Fill in a description
7. Under **Application Permissions**, enable these permissions:
   * **Monitoring | URL Protection | Read**
   * **Monitoring | Impersonation Protection | Read**
   * **Monitoring | Attachment Protection | Read**
   * **Security Events and Data Retrieval | Threat and Security Statistics | Read**
8. Click **Save & Exit**
9. Click **Integrations** in the left sidebar
10. Select **API and Platform Integrations**
11. Locate **Mimecast API 2.0** and click **Generate Keys**
12. Check the **I Accept** box and click **Next**
13. Fill out the Application Details:
    * Name: **Wirespeed**
    * Category: **Managed SOC Integration**
    * Products: select **Threats, Security Events and Data for CG**, **Audit Events**, and  **Security Events**
    * Role: select the **Wirespeed API** role you created earlier
    * Description: give it a user friendly description
14. Click **Next**
15. For **Notifications**, enter your name and email.
16. Click **Save**
17. Copy the **Client Id** and **Client Secret**
18. Log into Wirespeed and navigate to Integrations > [**Add Integration**](https://app.wirespeed.co/settings/integrations?tab=browse)
19. Enter your **Client Id** and **Client Secret**
20. Click **Integrate**
