# Team

> Managing your team and users

<Info>Team settings can be found under **Settings > Team**. Use the **Team** tab to change your team name and platform branding. Use **Team Members** to manage users. Personal notification preferences are on the **Your Profile** tab. Team Account Notifications (shared inbox, subject line, and rich case formatting) are in the **Team** tab. See [Notifications](/settings/notifications).</Info>

## Billable resources

The **Billable Resources** section on **Settings > Team Analytics** shows current billable user and endpoint counts for your team. See [Billable Assets](/assets/billable-assets) for how counts are calculated.

## Test Mode

Test mode is enabled by default for all new accounts. This mode blocks **automated** outbound actions from Wirespeed—such as automatic remediation, verdict sync to your integrations, and ChatOps—so you don't interact with your end users and external systems until you are ready. **Manual** actions, such as remediation you initiate from a case, are not blocked. Team members that are signed up to Wirespeed will still receive notifications as necessary. You can enable/disable test mode underneath your Team page.

## Team API Keys

Team API keys allow you to programmatically access the Wirespeed API using a service account. These keys are associated with your team rather than individual users, making them ideal for automation and long-term access.

1. Sign in as a team **Admin** (only Admins can access Team API Keys).
2. In Wirespeed, open **Settings → Team**.
3. Scroll to **Team API Keys**.
4. Create a key with a name, [role](/settings/roles), and expiration (1–720 days).
5. Copy the token immediately — it is shown **only once**. Keys are prefixed with `wspd-`.

## Security

### (Un)lock Users

You can lock and unlock users by highlighting their row in the "Team Members" table, selecting the 3-dot button on the right-hand side, and choosing the appropriate action.

### Reset team member MFA/password

If a team member forgets their password they can reset it on the login page or by having you select the "Reset credentials" options underneath the 3-dot menu on the Team Members table.

If a team member loses access to their MFA device, the only way to reset it is by you selecting "Reset credentials" for their account. They will receive an invite in their email to re-register for the platform.

### Audit Log

You can view the audit log for your team by selecting your email in the bottom left corner of the screen, and selecting "System Log".

## Demo Team

A demo team contains sample data and integrations for you to explore the functionality of Wirespeed. Demo teams are primarily read-only, if you would like to try some of your integrations, request a new tenant to try out.
