Google workspace requires the use of domain-wide delegation to access their Alert Center API (additional reference).

1. Granting Access

To grant access for Wirespeed you can follow the instructions here or below:
  1. Login to https://admin.google.com
  2. Go to Menu > Security (You may have to click “Show more”) > Access and data control > API controls > Manage Domain Wide Delegation
  3. Click Add New
  4. Enter 110095815816827055854 as the Client ID
  5. Enter https://www.googleapis.com/auth/apps.alerts as the OAuth Scopes
  6. Click Authorize

2. Getting your customer ID

  1. Login to https://admin.google.com
  2. Go to Menu > Account > Account Settings > Profile
  3. Copy your Customer ID

3. Getting your customer email

Google requires an account to impersonate for using the Alert Center API. If you’re reading this, your email address should be the correct value to use for this and is automatically filled in the form. Otherwise, provide an email for an administrator of your organization.
On first sync, Wirespeed fetches alerts from the last 90 days.
