Integrate Wirespeed with Mimecast

  1. Login to Mimecast
  2. Click Account on the left sidebar
  3. Select Admin Roles
  4. Click New Roles
  5. Name the new role Wirespeed API
  6. Fill in a description
  7. Under Application Permissions, enable these permissions:
    • Monitoring | URL Protection | Read
    • Monitoring | Impersonation Protection | Read
    • Monitoring | Attachment Protection | Read
    • Security Events and Data Retrieval | Threat and Security Statistics | Read
  8. Click Save & Exit
  9. Click Integrations in the left sidebar
  10. Select API and Platform Integrations
  11. Locate Mimecast API 2.0 and click Generate Keys
  12. Check the I Accept box and click Next
  13. Fill out the Application Details:
    • Name: Wirespeed
    • Category: Managed SOC Integration
    • Products: select Threats, Security Events and Data for CG, Audit Events, and Security Events
    • Role: select the Wirespeed API role you created earlier
    • Description: give it a user friendly description
  14. Click Next
  15. For Notifications, enter your name and email.
  16. Click Save
  17. Copy the Client Id and Client Secret
  18. Log into Wirespeed
  19. Navigate to Integrations > Add Integration
  20. Enter your Client Id and Client Secret
  21. Click Integrate
