FortiMail Workspace Security (formerly Perception Point) is Fortinet’s email threat protection product. API hosts remain on *.perception-point.io. Use this integration when you have console access and an Admin API key (including Acronis Email Security tenants with X-ray / FortiMail Workspace Security console access).
API access must be included in your license. Confirm with your Fortinet Account Manager if unsure.
  1. Login to the FortiMail Workspace Security console
  2. Confirm your Environment under Settings → Account → Environment (US, EU, or AUS). This maps to the API host:
    • US: api.perception-point.io
    • EU: api.eu.perception-point.io
    • AUS: api.aus.perception-point.io
  3. Navigate to Settings → Profile → Security → API Key
  4. Copy the API Key (Admin role only). Prefer a dedicated Admin user for API access so the token is not tied to an individual operator.
  5. Login to Wirespeed and navigate to Integrations > Add Integration > FortiMail Workspace Security
  6. Paste the API Key, select the matching API Host, and optionally set Organization ID for MSSP/sub-org filtering
  7. Select Add Integration
Wirespeed polls non-clean email scans (MAL, BLK, SPM, SUS) and creates detections. Clean (CLN) scans are not ingested.
On first sync, Wirespeed fetches threat scans from the last 7 days.
