Overview

Picus Security is an attack simulation platform that continuously validates your security controls against real-world threats. When integrated with Wirespeed, detections that match active Picus simulations are automatically identified and recategorized — preventing simulated attacks from escalating as real incidents.

Generate a Refresh Token in Picus

  1. Log in to app.picussecurity.com.
  2. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  3. Select Rest API Token.
  4. Click Generate Token.
  5. Copy the refresh token and store it securely — it will not be shown again.
Refresh tokens are valid for 6 months. Wirespeed will automatically regenerate the token before it expires, but if the token becomes invalid you will need to return here and generate a new one.

Connect Picus to Wirespeed

  1. Log in to Wirespeed.
  2. Navigate to Integrations > Add Integration > Picus Security.
  3. Paste your refresh token into the Refresh Token field.
  4. Click Integrate.
Wirespeed will exchange the refresh token for a short-lived access token automatically. No base URL or account ID is required.
